Although Andrew had lived with those experiences since childhood, he believes complete acceptance arrived nearly 20 years ago, after one of the most difficult periods of his life.
He spent 36 days in intensive care after falling into a coma and remained in hospital for almost 3 months. Doctors believed he was unlikely to survive.
“They said I was not going to make it,” he recalls. “My ex-wife was ready to sign the papers. It was that serious.”
Andrew tells the story without drama. Instead, he speaks about it with certainty.
“But God had other plans for me.”
He believes he crossed to what he describes as “the other side,” an experience that transformed every belief he held about life, death, and his purpose.
“I actually went to the other side and had the most profound, amazing experience of being there,” he says. “When you go through something like that, you do not come back and look at life the same way. It is impossible.”
For Andrew, surviving the coma did far more than strengthen his faith. It removed the uncertainty that many people spend their lives carrying.
“Our whole lives we are taught, ‘Believe in God, trust, have faith.’ You cannot see Him, but just have faith. But when you take that word faith out of your vocabulary in regard to God, your whole life is different. You just know. You believe. You do not have to sweat the small stuff that most people do.”
That experience also reformed the way he understood his work. Rather than seeing his abilities as something unusual that happened to him, he began seeing them as a responsibility.
“From that moment on, I realised that my story of what I went through on the other side was meant to be told and was meant to heal others.”

“I would like to believe it has changed and given a lot of people hope because it is a very hopeful experience.”

“It was the universe and God keeping things fun for me,” he says with a smile. “Every year I seem to be introduced to something new.”

While visiting a crystal shop, Andrew met a woman he immediately sensed was connected to law enforcement. Along with that impression came details about an active murder investigation involving a young woman.
“I saw her in a uniform,” he recalls. “Then I picked up on a case they were working on.”
The woman turned out to be a sergeant with the local police department. According to Andrew, the details he shared had never been released publicly. She later discussed the conversation with her chief, who invited Andrew to the precinct.
“He had me write down everything I knew about the case.”
Andrew documented everything he believed he had received, including descriptions of markings and details surrounding the crime.
“He said I was 90% accurate.”
The investigation eventually took another unexpected turn. Andrew had described one of the perpetrators losing something around the victim’s body. Investigators later returned to the location with metal detectors to search for additional evidence.

He spent nearly 2 years working alongside the sister of missing woman Stacy Peterson, hoping to locate her body, and has assisted several families searching for answers after unimaginable loss.
Another case remains especially memorable because of the outcome.
A woman came to Andrew after her sister had been murdered and her body discovered inside the trunk of a car. During the reading, Andrew became convinced that her husband, a police officer, was responsible.
“I said the husband did it. We both knew it.”
He also believed part of the murder weapon had been left behind at the scene.
“I said part of the gun was dropped on the property.”
According to Andrew, investigators later discovered a missing piece of the firearm, evidence that ultimately contributed to the husband’s conviction.
Despite those experiences, Andrew does not view his role as replacing investigators or determining outcomes. Instead, he sees himself as offering information whenever he feels strongly compelled to speak.
“If I am adamant about something that I am feeling or seeing, I am not going to sit there and be quiet.”
